A new resource providing information
for people recently diagnosed with HIV has just been released called
“Next Steps”. The resource is a booklet covering a range of topics
including treatments and monitoring, transmitting and preventing HIV,
safe sex, relationships, sexually transmitted infections, legal rights,
health maintenance, women's issues and the stages of adapting after
diagnosis.
It
includes real-life stories shared by people living with HIV about their
experiences after their diagnosis. As well as providing information
for people recently diagnosed with HIV, the booklet can also be used by
anyone with HIV wanting to revisit information relating to their
diagnosis.
